Red Emma’s, a worker-run cooperative that operates a book store and coffee shop, among other businesses, at 30 W. North Ave., is bringing expanded coffee operations this November to the Open Works maker space in Station North. The Greenmount Coffee Lab will bring dedicated roasting operations to the facility at 1400 Greenmount Ave. as well as an expanded menu from Red Emma’s original location.
