Several Baltimore-area companies are ranked among the top businesses in the country for extending protections to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation recently released a report that graded hundreds of U.S. businesses based on what rules, if any, companies have to protect employees from being discriminated against based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
