Greater Baltimore’s six biggest banks remained the same while there was some shifting among community banks, according to the latest market-share data released by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Maryland’s treasury office is reviewing whether the state should stop doing business with Wells Fargo in light of the bank’s scandal over its use of fraudulent sales practices. The review comes after the state of California suspended doing business with the San Francisco-based bank for the next 12 months. McCormick & Co. Inc.’s third-quarter earnings rose 31 percent on rising sales from recent acquisitions, topping expectations set by Wall Street. The Sparks-based spice maker reported earnings of $127.7 million, or $1 per share, for the quarter ending Aug. 31. That’s up from $97.6 million, or 76 cents per share, in the year-ago period.
