Johns Hopkins slips a spot on U.S. News' ranking of best hospitals

Johns Hopkins fell one spot to No. 4 on U.S. News & World Report’s annual list of the country’s top hospitals, the lowest spot the Baltimore hospital has ever landed on the list. The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota ranked first on the list, followed by the Cleveland Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital. U.S. News’ rankings reviewed 4,667 hospitals and ranked them regionally and by specialties. Johns Hopkins Hospital held the No.1 spot for 21 years, before falling to No. 3 in 2014 — and stayed…
