Hogan asks SBA to declare Howard County a disaster area

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has asked the U.S. Small Business Administration to make low-interest loans available to businesses, homeowners and renters affected by the July 30 flood that devastated Ellicott City. Hogan’s letter requests the SBA to declare Howard County a disaster area. The flood left two people dead, more than 100 homes and businesses damaged and displaced hundreds of residents and workers.
