The city says it will begin work in the fall on the replacement of a 100-year-old vehicle bridge along Route 40 that runs above the Gwynns Falls and CSX train tracks. Construction will start in October on the new 500-foot Edmondson Avenue bridge. The stretch along Route 40 sits near the Western Cemetery in West Baltimore.
