Baltimore streaming startup targets independent filmmakers, artists

A new Baltimore startup hopes to turn the online streaming world on its head with a site offering only original content from independent artists and filmmakers. The platform is called My Indie TV and its founder, Glen Spurlock, 34, said he and his partner, Christopher Crews, 32, want to use it to “open the doors” for any artist with a great idea and give them the platform and funding they need to make it come to life.
