We now know the name of Kevin Plank’s Recreation Pier hotel in Fells Point. The property, scheduled to open in early 2017, will be known as Sagamore Pendry Baltimore. Plank’s Sagamore Development Co. is transforming the 100-year-old pier and head house into a 128-room upscale hotel. Pendry is a brand of California-based Montage Hotels & Resorts, which was announced last year as the manager of the Rec Pier hotel.
