Pimlico daily wagering rises 22% during spring season

The recently concluded spring season at Pimlico Race Course generated an average of $6.3 million a day over a 28-day period, the Maryland Jockey Club, reported, a per-day increase of 22 percent from last year. The marquee Preakness Stakes headlined the spring schedule at Pimlico, bringing in $94.1 million in bets, an increase of 9.6 percent from last year’s race.
