If you haven’t heard of Hofmann sausages, you are about to. Syracuse, N.Y.-based Hofmann Sausage Co. quietly opened its first Hofmann Brands corporate office six months ago at 16 E. Lombard St. downtown. The company has been making sausages and hot dogs in New York for 137 years and recently started to expand.
