Southwest extends 737 Max cancellations until March

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) has again pushed back the reentry date for the 737 Max. The Dallas-based carrier extended Max-related cancellations until March 6, 2020, the airline said in a regulatory filing Friday. Previously, the plane had been taken off Southwest’s schedule through Feb. 8, 2020. Southwest Chief Executive Gary Kelly alluded to the fact this could happen in the company’s most recent earnings call. Kelly said he hadn’t directed his team to redo the carrier’s schedule yet…
