Johns Hopkins bioethics institute gets $15 million gift

The chairman of Johns Hopkins University’s Berman Institute of Bioethics has made a $15 million gift to establish a new endowment and support studying bioethicists. Alexander Levi, a clinical psychologist and Hopkins trustee, made the gift along with his wife, Vicki. Levi is a longtime supporter of the Berman Institute and has previously supported it through the post-doctoral Hecht-Levi Fellowship Program.
