Cool Digs: Pikesville Volunteer Fire Co.'s renovated station has modern features, historic artifacts

The Pikesville Volunteer Fire Co.’s 18,000-square-foot station has undergone a $1.6 million renovation to create a workspace that better serves the modern needs of firefighters today. Unisex bathrooms, kosher-designated appliances, updated alarm systems and information monitors with weather and traffic conditions were all included as a part of the re-do led by Curry Architects in Towson.
