Former aircraft machining plant in Baltimore County sells for $5.7M

A corrugated box company has purchased a former airplane wing manufacturing building in Baltimore County for $5.7 million to consolidate its business. Sun Automation Group recently purchased the 180,000-square-foot plant that sits on 36 acres of rural land at 12201 Long Green Pike in Glen Arm. About 140 workers from the company’s current two locations in Sparks and Edgewood will move to the new plant, company officials said. Sun Automation is an employee-owned company.
