A new bar in Highlandtown is ready to introduce Baltimoreans to ax-throwing. Urban Axes will open at 1 N. Haven St. on July 27 and celebrate its inaugural weekend with a two-day ax-throwing competition expected to draw competitors from across the country as well as Canada. The facility is the third for the fast-growing Urban Axes chain, which launched in Philadelphia in 2016.
