Pugh says expanding Baltimore Convention Center a top priority alongside Pimlico, but funds are uncertain

Finding the money to expand the Baltimore Convention Center by 400,000 square feet will be the next phase of an ongoing study by the Maryland Stadium Authority. The initial phase of the $1 million study recommended the expansion of the existing 1.2 million square feet, along with a 500-room full-service hotel where the Sheraton Inner Harbor now stands.
