Maryland to replace southwest Baltimore County bridge for $29M

Maryland’s Department of Transportation State Highway Administration announced Thursday plans to replace an aging bridge in southwest Baltimore County. The US 1, or Washington Boulevard bridge, was built in 1929 over the CSX Transportation rail line in Arbutus. The project is expected to cost $28.9 million and begin in late July with a targeted completion of summer 2021. It comes as part of Gov.
