The University System of Maryland has appointed Heidi M. Anderson as the new president of University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Anderson comes to the school from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she was a provost and vice president for academic affairs. She replaces Juliette B. Bell, who announced earlier this year she would step down from the president’s seat July 1. Former Bowie State University President Mickey Burnim was appointed to lead the Princess Anne university in the interim.…
