The New York Court of Appeals on Thursday dismissed a bid by MASN to appeal as a matter of right a prior decision, returning the long-running media dispute with the Washington Nationals back to MLB’s internal arbitration panel. The ruling was made on the grounds that the Orioles-controlled MASN did not have constitutional grounds to appeal in this fashion.
