A Massachusetts bio-research firm will close its lab in Frederick next year and lay off 57 employees. Charles River Laboratories International Inc. will begin the job cuts at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research in March, according to a filing with the with the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.
