Gov. Larry Hogan’s office detailed on Friday how $22 million in state and federal funding to fight the opioid epidemic will be used. The funding for fiscal year 2018, which started July 1, includes the first $10 million from Hogan’s $50 million commitment to the crisis in March. Additionally, the state will use its first $10 million from the federal 21st Century Cures Act. Maryland will receive $20 million over two years under the program.
