Carmela Coyle to leave Maryland Hospital Association

Carmela Coyle is leaving her position as president and CEO of the Maryland Hospital Association to take the reins at the California Hospital Association this fall. Coyle will replace current CHA CEO C. Duane Dauner, who is retiring after over 30 years at the helm. Coyle led the group for nine years, spearheading the push for Maryland to receive a waiver from the federal government that changed the way hospitals are paid.
