Ron Peterson retiring as Johns Hopkins Health System president after 44 years

Ronald R. Peterson, president of Johns Hopkins Health System and executive vice president of Johns Hopkins Medicine, plans to retire at the end of 2017 after more than 44 years at the organization. In his role, Peterson oversees the health system’s six hospitals: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Howard County General Hospital, Suburban Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
