The city-owned Hilton Baltimore lost $5.5 million in 2016, continuing a string of annual deficits for the hotel and bringing the total money lost since the property opened in 2008 to over $80 million. The deficit comes as Mayor Catherine Pugh is looking to refinance the city’s bonds for the hotel to save $2 million annually.
