​National Harbor jumps into destination marketing with new visitors bureau

National Harbor is ramping up efforts to draw in more out-of-town visitors with a new convention and visitors association. National Harbor Convention & Visitors Association was formed specifically to drive overnight visitation and bring in more people from more than 25 miles away, according to Bruce Gudenberg, the group’s executive director.
