Former Fork & Wrench chef opening his first restaurant

Brain Lavin has made a name for himself serving as executive chef at Fork & Wrench in Canton and Salt in Butchers Hill, but now Lavin is looking to work for himself doing a concept he is passionate about. Lavin announced this week he will open Gnocco at 3734 Fleet St., in Brewers Hill, aiming for a June 14 opening date.
