The coronavirus demonstrates how quick a supply chain disruption can occur. The virus was first discovered in Wuhan, China, on or about Dec. 1. Two months later the virus is known to have infected nearly 25,000 people. There are 12 reported cases in the United States. Nearly 500 people have died from the virus in China.
