Marc Weller first met Kevin Plank through a mutual friend, when Weller was a high schooler in Maryland. The two kept in touch as their lives and careers progressed — Plank famously went on to found Baltimore sportswear maker Under Armour, and Weller went into the real estate development business. Eventually, they reconnected to form a business partnership. Now Weller’s development company is leading a $5.5 billion, 235-acre project initially envisioned by Plank, known as the Port Covington project.…
