Mayor Catherine Pugh has been released from the hospital after spending several days there recovering from pneumonia. The news comes as Baltimore residents are waiting to hear from Pugh about a questionable $500,000 children’s book deal she had with the University of Maryland Medical System. A spokesman for the Pugh said Thursday afternoon that she is recovering and working from home.
