Mayor Catherine Pugh has been hospitalized with pneumonia and canceled all her public appearances until further notice, a release from the Mayor’s office Monday morning said. The statement said Pugh’s doctor has instructed her to rest until she is fully recovered. City officials disclosed Pugh had bronchitis on Wednesday after she did not attend the weekly Board of Estimates meeting and her usual press availability following it.
