Workers filled the former Hendler Creamery site in Jonestown on Thursday as a $75 million conversion of the historic area to a residential and retail hub is underway. The development at 1101-1133 E. Fayette St. had been demolished over the winter by Hanover-based Commercial Group to make way for 296 new luxury apartments and 30,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.
