Baltimore nonprofit focused on housing discrimination will shut down due to 'insurmountable obstacles'

Baltimore Neighborhoods Inc., a local nonprofit that has acted as a resource for housing discrimination complaints and landlord/tenant disputes for six decades, will cease operations at the end of August. John Herron, the organization’s interim executive director, cited “insurmountable obstacles” in a statement announcing the decision.
