Baltimore Center Stage turned to the outside to find its new artistic director. The group on Thursday named Stephanie Ybaraa, currently director of special artistic projects at the Public Theater in New York, to the post. She will begin the transition in October, joining the staff full-time in December. Ybarra replaces Kwamee Kwei-Armah, who stepped earlier this year to become artistic director of London’s Young Vic Theater. Kwei-Armah was artistic director at Center Stage for seven seasons.…
