Baltimore-based Pixelligent Technologies has raised $7.6 million in new funding to help drive commercialization efforts and build its worldwide customer base. Pixelligent, which uses manufactured nanomaterials to produce high-efficiency lighting, has raised more than $40 million in financing to date and has been awarded more than $12 million in federal grants.
