Harbor Point bridge expected to open this summer

The long-awaited Central Avenue bridge connecting Harbor Point to the city will soon open after a nearly year-long delay. The first phase of the $50 million project is expected to welcome vehicles and pedestrians this summer, said Kathy Dominick, a spokeswoman for the city’s Department of Transportation, the developer of the project.
