With spring finally bringing some warmer weather, more Americans than ever are hitting the road. Demand for gas is at the year’s highest with drivers using 9.86 million barrels per day, according to the Energy Information Administration, 584,000 more barrels than last week and 634,000 than the same time last year. And with that increase in demand, prices are on the rise, too. According to AAA, gas prices across the U.S. are up 18 cents from the week before and 30 cents from the same time last year.…
