A 14-story Hilton Garden Inn planned for downtown Baltimore is getting ready to break ground. Construction workers and equipment have cropped up at 25 S. Calvert St., a long-vacant lot a few blocks from the Inner Harbor. Ronak Patel, who owns the property through his business, Allstar Hotels LLC, said construction crews are preparing the area so that work on the 87,000-square-foot hotel can begin in August.
