The first of Sagamore Ventures’ new water taxis has hit the water. Sagamore, the private investment firm of Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, partnered with local manufacturer Maritime Applied Physics Corp. to build a new fleet of boats for the city’s Water Taxi service. Sagamore purchased Harbor Boating Inc., the company that operates the Water Taxi, in August for an undisclosed price.
