Johns Hopkins receives $6M EPA grant for children's asthma research

The Environmental Protection Agency awarded $6 million to Johns Hopkins to support continued research and trials aimed at reducing the effects of childhood asthma. The grant is part of an almost $28 million national initiative to promote health and well-being in communities where children live and play, funding five children’s environmental health and disease prevention centers across the country.
