Maryland comptroller proposes regulations for online daily fantasy sports

New regulations proposed Thursday by Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot would keep daily fantasy sports operators in check, players protected and allow the state to collect the proper taxes they are due. The proposed regulations come in the wake of several states trying to define the legality of daily fantasy sports operators, in particular FanDuel and DraftKings.
