State Board of Public Works approves $106M for city school improvements

Maryland’s Board of Public Works approved spending $106 million on school improvements in Baltimore — the next step in a $1 billion overhaul of city schools. The state’s spending panel gave its approval to five contract requests from the Maryland Stadium Authority.
