The Baltimore City Council Labor Committee approved a bill to raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2022, with four votes in favor and one abstention. The bill, which calls for a gradual increase in the city-wide minimum wage, was voted on after one final amendment was approved by the committee, during a work session Thursday.
