Two federal grant applications for transportation projects in Maryland were rejected on Wednesday by the U.S. Department of Transportation. One involved a $76 million request for new highway ramps off of Interstate 95 and roadwork surrounding the massive Port Covington redevelopment by Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank’s Sagamore Development.
