Wegmans in Owings Mills, set to open in the new Foundry Row development on Sept. 18, has hired 250 part-time workers so far, the company said Friday. More than 9,000 applications were received for the 475 full and part-time jobs that include food preparation workers, cashiers, produce experts and bakery and deli clerks. Wegmans will open its eighth store in Maryland in mid-September, a 109,000-square-foot grocery store on Reisterstown Road at the former site of the Solo Cup manufacturing plant.…
