Baltimore’s mayor has chosen a top staffer from the city’s data-focused Innovation Team to lead the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice. Tamika Gauvin, who’s served as deputy director and program manager of the “i-team” for the last two years, will become the MOCJ’s new director on Dec. 17. The office advises the city’s top elected official on crime reduction and criminal justice strategy.
