Maryland adds 9,800 jobs in November, unemployment holds steady

Maryland’s economy added 9,800 jobs in November, the fourth month in a row of job growth as the overall U.S. economy remains strong. During the last four months, Maryland has gained 32,000 jobs, which is the strongest stretch in employment growth since 2010, according to the state Department of Labor. Maryland’s unemployment rate remained at 3.6%, in line with the national average of 3.5%.
