Gov. Larry Hogan has canceled a meeting of the state’s Board of Public Works where a proposal to add toll lanes to the Beltway and Interstate 270 was scheduled for a vote, according to reports. The cancellation, first reported by The Washington Post, moves the discussion of the toll lanes on two of Maryland’s major roadways to next year, where it is likely to draw resistance in the General Assembly.
