Ed Evans of Live Casino and Hotel will become the latest Baltimore-area chef to appear on the Food Network’s competition show “Chopped.” The patriotic-themed episode, dubbed “Culinary Fireworks,” will air at 10 p.m. on July 2. Evans, a West Baltimore native, has been executive chef at Live in Hanover for more than four years. He is in charge of the Cordish Cos.-owned venue’s nine restaurants.
