The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor appointed Balan Paravantavida as its new hotel manager, effective immediately. Paravantavida, who was most recently hotel manager for the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, has been working for Marriott International Inc.
