Gov. Larry Hogan re-elected to second term in deep-blue Maryland

Larry Hogan on Tuesday became the state’s first Republican governor to be re-elected in more than 60 years, the Associated Press has called. Hogan, a former real estate developer, famously pulled off a big upset four years ago when he beat Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown running on a platform of lowering taxes and improving Maryland’s business climate.
